I'm loving my stripes! So glad I made a color swatch on my computer first, I've been using it as a guide to make sure I get my colors in the right order. Very helpful! I'm also loving the simplicity of the pattern. I can knit when ever, where ever, and not have to think about what I'm doing. The only problem with that is I am off a couple stitches on the back section.... I forgot to increase somewhere. I was probably watching an episode of something on Netflix and not paying attention to what I was doing. Oh well, it happens to the best of us! Thankfully, this pattern doesn't have any embellishments in the design so those couple stitches won't be missed. Yep, that's the kind of knitter I am :)
April, but I'm having surgery soon and I'm not sure how I'll feel afterwards. Nothing major, I just tore something in my hip (trying to be wonder woman and doing too much) and need to have it stitched back together. I'm planning on feeling great afterwards and having lots of time to knit. So I have 2 shawl patterns ready, plus working on my Timely sweater, while recovering. That should keep me busy.
I hope you're having success with your sweater as well! Please share pictures on our facebook page.
My next update will be on Wednesday, the 28th. My surgery is the 29th and I guarantee I won't be up to blogging, knitting, or anything else on the 30th. Make sure you check in sometime that week though, we'll have another give away!!
