It's been a little over a month since my last post. During which I had minor hip surgery, a lovely pinched nerve as a result of the swelling from the surgery, and several mental breakdowns from having to lay on the couch for soooo long. I never thought not being able to clean and do dishes would bother me. FYI - I also watched wayyyy too much netflix. The good news is I'm finally feeling better and on my way to a full recovery, just a lot slower than anticipated. Better late than never, right?
Ok, so update on my sweater. I'm bored! This always happens to me at this point!! I'm at the waist shaping where you repeat a row of decreases and then knit 11 rows. Then you repeat that 3 more times.... just keep knitting, just keep knitting...
Anyway, that's why I knitted 3 shawls during the last month as well. It gave me something to focus on instead of the tv. Check out our facebook page or instagram to see the shawls. I love knitting shawls. I actually don't wear them very often, but they are so pretty! So I knit them and send them to the store to sell or display. Perfect!
Back to my Timely sweater (that I'm not finishing in a timely manner, but that's ok). I'm loving the stripes! So pretty, it will make a great spring sweater for next year. lol! It will probably be too warm for it by the time I finish it. A big bonus... so far I've even got all the stripes in the right order! If you find a mistake, please don't tell me about it. Let me live in blissful ignorance!
Tell me how your sweaters are going? Are you moving right along? Maybe even finished? I hope you are enjoying this pattern as much as I am. I always love a simple cardigan. It goes with anything and the fact that you made it makes it even better.
Ok, I'm back on track so check back in two weeks for an update. I'm hoping to be onto the sleeves by then. I should be with no problem, right?
